Requirements
  • A Bac +2 to Bac +5 qualification in environmental studies, chemistry, water-related professions, or an equivalent field.
  • At least five years of experience in water measurement and sampling.
  • Very good knowledge of the industrial sector and collective sanitation, which is an indispensable prerequisite.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and field constraints.
  • Ability to manage files independently.
  • A category B driver's license is indispensable for occasional field travel.
Responsibilities
  • Manage client files from offer preparation through final delivery.
  • Write, validate, and monitor quotations.
  • Prepare and verify technical files before interventions.
  • Participate in field water-sampling and measurement campaigns.
  • Validate analysis requests and adjust services.
  • Write, validate, and sign intervention reports according to authorization levels.
  • Monitor deadlines and the progress of files.
  • Provide technical support to field teams.
  • Participate in regulatory and technical monitoring.
  • Apply and comply with quality and safety procedures.
  • Verify equipment conformity and employee authorizations.
  • Participate in internal, client, and COFRAC audits.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of practices and processes.
  • Participate in risk prevention and compliance with HSE requirements.

SGS acquires majority stake in US cybersecurity firm Prescient Security targeting $224M revenue

SGS, the world's leading testing, inspection and certification company, has acquired a majority stake in Prescient Security, a US-based provider of information compliance and cybersecurity services. Prescient Security employs over 350 people and serves 5,000 customers worldwide, offering expertise in information security certification, penetration testing and compliance workflows across sectors including finance, healthcare and technology. The acquisition forms part of SGS's Digital Trust strategy, with the company targeting at least CHF 200 million in additional Digital Trust revenue by 2027 compared with 2023. Prescient Security supports major international standards including SOC2, ISO, PCI DSS and FedRAMP. SGS CEO Géraldine Picaud described the deal as a key milestone in expanding the company's Digital Trust platform and service portfolio.

SGS takes majority stake in US cybersecurity company Prescient Security. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Prescient Security employs more than 350 employees and serves around 5,000 customers worldwide, as SGS announced on Friday. The company specializes in information security, cybersecurity and compliance with regulatory requirements in the digital sector. Its customers include companies from the financial, healthcare, retail, technology and defense sectors. According to the information, the offering includes certifications in accordance with international security standards as well as so-called penetration tests, which are used to specifically check IT systems for vulnerabilities. Prescient Security also has its own technologies for automating compliance and security processes. With the acquisition, SGS is further expanding its strategic business segment "Digital Trust". The group, headquartered in Baar, aims to generate at least 200 million Swiss francs in additional revenue in this area by 2027 compared with 2023.

SGS launches $734.5M senior bond offering with 4.125% coupon

SGS SA launched a EUR 650 million senior bond offering on 22 September 2026. The bonds have a six-year maturity, due in 2032, and carry a 4.125% coupon. The bonds will be issued by SGS Finance BV and guaranteed by SGS SA. Proceeds are intended for general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing debt. Earlier in September, SGS received an EcoVadis Gold Medal, improving from its previous Silver rating. The company is scheduled to release its third-quarter 2026 sales update on 23 October 2026.
