About the job
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Eight to ten years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with a proven track record in a people management or team leadership role.
- Deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and multi-entity group consolidation.
- Strong hands-on experience driving accounting process redesign and finance system implementation or automation.
- Fluency in Mandarin and strong professional written and spoken English.
- Experience with a combination of Big Four audit firm and in-house commercial accounting experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning software such as Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite is a plus.
- Experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, technology, or software industries is a strong plus.
- Certified Public Accountant or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team of accountants to ensure daily financial operations, month-end closes, and reporting are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and consolidation for group entities and global subsidiaries.
- Drive accounting process improvements, establish standard operating procedures, and lead system automation initiatives to enhance team efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Research and periodically adjust existing accounting treatments to reflect evolving standards and business needs.
- Oversee internal and external audit engagements, transfer pricing, and global tax compliance matters across multiple entities to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management to provide visibility into financial performance, support financial analysis, and guide business decision-making.
- A combination of Big Four audit firm experience and in-house commercial accounting experience.

The company focuses on converting stablecoins between currencies beyond the US dollar, where transactions are typically more expensive and complex. Founded by Dr Andrew Mann and Dr David Twomey, both UCL Computer Science PhDs with experience at Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and Virtu Financial, IMMIX uses an AI-powered pricing engine combined with institutional liquidity infrastructure. The company's deep-learning models forecast market conditions across thousands of instruments and have processed over $25 billion in customer trading volume since 2024. The funding will support development of IMMIX's pricing engine, expand available liquidity, and grow its partner distribution network. The firm serves payment service providers, money transfer operators, stablecoin issuers, and trading venues.
MHA has completed the acquisition of Baker Tilly South-East Europe Holdings (BTSEE), expanding its presence in Cyprus, Greece, and South-East Europe.
