Regional Flex League Representative
About the job
- Be an active or established tennis player and/or coach, with passion for growing tennis.
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to own and complete tasks from ideation through execution and measurement.
- Be passionate about educating and selling, focused on solutions, and willing to engage with prospective customers.
- Have proficiency in digital and social marketing, including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Demonstrate the ability to persuade, sell, recruit, and network within tennis.
- Be able to document client feedback and provide it to UTR team members.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Follow through consistently, take ownership, and respond promptly.
- Represent UTR professionally and with integrity and honesty.
- Have an undergraduate college degree or appropriate professional experience of at least two years (preferred).
- Drive new player sign-ups and participation in Flex Leagues, and communicate with existing players to encourage repeat participation.
- Conduct personal outreach by email, phone, and text to tennis contacts, including players, friends, coaches, and tennis influencers.
- Send an introductory announcement email and monthly emails or texts to members, players, and coaches to promote upcoming sessions.
- Promote Flex Leagues through digital channels, including newsletters and social media.
- Meet with local clubs, facilities, tennis shops, coaches, and independent organizers to promote Flex Leagues and encourage referrals.
- Build awareness of Flex Leagues in person using flyers, banners, and other signage.
- Distribute provided Flex Leagues materials, signage, and business cards at the representative's facility and other local tennis facilities and shops.
- An undergraduate college degree or appropriate professional experience of at least two years.
