About the Job

Requirements

  • You have completed a higher professional or university-level education.
  • You have 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • You have experience with business process management, requirements analysis, Agile/Scrum, user stories, use cases, and drafting designs.
  • You have good knowledge of business operations and management processes.
  • You have an affinity for data, digitalization, and AI applications in project management.
  • You have experience facilitating workshops and/or delivering training.
  • You are familiar with IT development methods and frameworks and can assess IT solutions substantively.
  • Fluent Dutch is mandatory because assignments are conducted fully in Dutch.
  • A PES screening is part of onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, establish, and optimize the Project Management Office within the Northeast region.
  • Develop an organizational and process plan for supporting project and program management, aligned with the organization’s culture and capacity for change.
  • Implement and manage PMO tools, standards, and methodologies to safeguard the quality and predictability of project outcomes.
  • Create structure through harmonization and standardization, and actively encourage knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously improve processes, including through data analysis and AI support for planning, reporting, and governance.
  • Support organizations in professionalizing project and program management and transitioning traditional PMO processes to data- and AI-driven ways of working.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Service Managers, and Delivery Managers, connecting business, IT, and projects.
  • Provide insight, structure, and steering using modern tools and techniques, including automated reporting, data analysis, and, where appropriate, AI applications for forecasting and risk management.
