Practice Details
We are a full-service gynecologic practice that offers comprehensive women’s health care, as well as offering the most advanced minimally invasive techniques to treat a wide range of gynecologic issues. Our board-certified physician, Dr. Rama Rao, provides a patient-centered approach to women’s health care in a compassionate and trusting environment.
In addition to offering routine gynecological care, we specialize in minimally invasive in-office and outpatient procedures to treat women with various gynecologic issues including painful bladder syndrome, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, pelvic masses, uterine fibroids, uterine bleeding and more.
Dr. Rao is welcoming new patients, accepts most insurance plans and offers 3 convenient locations in Atlanta, Midtown and Woodstock for women in the Midtown, Buckhead, Sandy Springs and Cherokee County communities.
Responsibilities
The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
PREFERRED:
Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
Work Hours:
8:30am - 5:00pm
