Partners are changing the refresh conversation. 16/09/2026 Infrastructure refreshes have traditionally been driven by aging hardware or the need for more capacity. But as customers prepare for AI, automation and increasingly data-intensive workloads, partners have an opportunity to make those conversations far more strategic. Instead of focusing solely on replacement cycles, they're helping customers understand how modern infrastructure can improve performance, reduce operating costs and create a stronger foundation for future growth. That's exactly what EPMTIC has experienced through its work with Arrow, Dell Technologies and AMD. How is EPMTIC helping customers modernize their infrastructure? EPMTIC is a technology integrator focused on delivering high-performance infrastructure solutions for medium and large enterprises. Its approach centers on helping customers modernize their IT environments with reliable, scalable and energy-efficient technologies. What are customers looking for from their next infrastructure refresh? Performance matters, but customers are also paying closer attention to efficiency and long-term value. EPMTIC has seen growing demand for AMD-powered Dell server solutions, with customers responding to improved performance, lower operating costs and the price-to-performance value of the Dell and AMD ecosystem. The partner has also seen strong customer satisfaction and faster sales cycles. How are Dell Technologies and AMD helping EPMTIC deliver more value? Dell PowerEdge servers powered by AMD EPYC(TM) processors enable EPMTIC to deliver highly optimized, future-ready architectures. The combination of performance, efficiency and reliability helps the team address customer requirements while delivering strong compute density and price-to-performance value. EPMTIC also points to greater performance per watt and faster deployment times as important differentiators. Where does EPMTIC see the next areas for growth? EPMTIC expects continued growth across virtualization, cloud infrastructure and data-intensive workloads. As these requirements evolve, the combination of AMD innovation and Dell's server portfolio gives the team a foundation for expanding into high-performance and energy-efficient computing environments. What role does Arrow play? Arrow gives EPMTIC access to pre-sales support, training, technical expertise, competitive pricing and new technologies. That support helps the team respond more quickly to customer requirements and deliver architectures aligned to performance and efficiency goals. EPMTIC sees Arrow as a strategic partner in scaling its business and reaching new customers. Why should partners rethink the refresh conversation now? Waiting longer to refresh infrastructure can come with a cost. Research highlighted in Arrow's 4 Steps for Successful Tech Refresh Conversations guide shows that organizations refreshing servers every three years experience lower operating costs, spend less time managing infrastructure and reduce unplanned downtime compared with extending refresh cycles to six years. For partners, that creates a stronger way into the conversation. A refresh doesn't have to be positioned simply as replacing aging hardware. It can be a discussion about performance, operational efficiency and preparing customers for what comes next.
First Pacific Advisors' FPA Queens Road Small Cap Value Fund trimmed its position in Arrow Electronics during the second quarter of 2026, according to its investor letter. The semiconductor distributor trades at approximately 10 times forward earnings. Arrow reported 39% year-over-year earnings growth in its first-quarter earnings release on 7 May, more than doubling its adjusted earnings per share. The company had previously used strong cash flows during the Covid component shortages between 2020 and 2023 to retire roughly one-third of its outstanding shares. The fund noted that the semiconductor industry has rebounded after suffering from a cyclical trough and tariff pressures. On 31 August 2026, Arrow's stock closed at approximately $203.92 per share, with a market capitalisation of about $10.41 billion.
