Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to safely operate company vehicles are required.
  • One to two years of experience repairing and maintaining vehicles, equipment, or similar machinery, or completion of a trade school program, is required.
  • A basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is required.
  • The ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals is required.
  • The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • The position requires the ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload rental equipment and tools.
  • The position requires manual dexterity, coordination, stamina, and the ability to work around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that may include heat, humidity, and loud noise.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on rental equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, especially scissor lifts and pulling equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
  • Transport rental equipment, tools, and materials to and from customer job sites and company locations while safely operating company vehicles.
  • Load, secure, unload, and inspect rental equipment during deliveries and pickups to ensure safe transportation and proper operation.
  • Provide professional customer service during equipment deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
  • Maintain complete and accurate work orders and electronic documentation of maintenance, repairs, deliveries, and pickups.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop and work environment.
  • Ensure repair and preventive maintenance schedules are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures while operating equipment, performing repairs, and driving company vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
