Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control robotic systems to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Intervene in real time when unsafe behavior or unexpected events occur, including activating an emergency stop or performing recovery.
  • Conduct pre-task safety inspections and maintain secure testing environments.
  • Record safety events and performance data to support continuous improvement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with robotic systems, automation, or laboratory safety operations.
  • Familiarity with industrial or collaborative robot safety standards, including ISO 10218, RIA, and ISO/TS 15066.
  • Experience with safety equipment such as interlocks, emergency stops, or sensors.
  • Basic familiarity with computer software interfaces and tools, including command line, Bash, and Linux operating system.
