- Experience with one of the following languages: Python, C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Javascript, reactJS and/or similar languages
- Familiarity with deployment and automated testing frameworks
- Ability to collaborate with your team in a fast-paced environment
- Passion and drive to change consumer banking for the better
- Developing and shipping a project and verifying that it works in production
- Shipping code and monitoring the deployment of work
- Collaborating with a mentor and manager to spec a project that will best contribute to the team
- Meeting with an engineering mentor on a regular basis and receiving feedback
- Attending events with other Affirmers and presenting work to the engineering organization at the end of the internship
