- Safely transport light/medium-duty trucks around the yard, into the building, and to outside service centers as needed.
- Operate light/medium heavy-duty equipment around the yard.
- Be able or willing to learn to operate and/or move heavy equipment, including trailers, in very tight spaces (up to 3-ton/medium-duty).
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of assigned equipment and report issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot, including removing debris and keeping the area free of hazards.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure vehicles are in the appropriate locations and ready for use.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Work in outside conditions, including inclement weather, year-round.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Implement and uphold 5S (Sort, Shine, Straighten, Standardize, Sustain) principles within the workspace to improve efficiency and organization.
- Have a commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Have previous porter or transportation experience.
