Summary
A Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our production equipment and facility. Responsibilities include; preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Work also includes; equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. This position offers the opportunity to work independently on routine maintenance activities while expanding your technical expertise through collaboration on more complex troubleshooting and repair challenges.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
(but not limited to…)
- Perform scheduled maintenance on machine tools including cleaning, lubrication, filter changing, belt replacement, adjustments, and basic repairs
- Source repair parts and maintain Spare Parts inventory
- Assist in occasional robotic projects required within the CNC and Die Cast departments
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of CMMS program
- Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department
- Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization

Qualifications
- Education: 2-year tech degree, and/or 5 years of related work experience.
- Experience and/or Training: Previous experience with CNC equipment is required.
- Technology/Equipment: CNC Mills, Lathes, Fanuc/Universal Robots, Finishing equipment, Hydraulic Presses, and Die Cast Machinery. Proficient in Microsoft Office Software, and various other computer software is required
Skills:
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, from production associates to senior leaders.
- Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and repair equipment to factory specs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as maintenance instructions, manuals, prints, mechanical blueprints, and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
- Comfortable working with 120V, 220V, and 480v 1ph and 3ph circuits.
- A basic understanding of PLC Logic Controllers, VFDs, and HMI based controls.
- Ability to use all types of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Must be proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Minitab statistical analysis software.
Bonus Skills:
- PLC Programming.
- An understanding of basic CNC Machine Language.
- Ball-Bar Calibrations and Machine Alignments
- Basic Welding Skills
- Previous experience with troubleshooting Die Cast Machines
- Fanuc or Universal Robot Programming
