  • MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 to 10 years of experience designing analog/digital circuits
  • Experience on high speed (>50GHz) digital circuits design
  • Knowledge of high-speed SerDes protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, SATA, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with analog mixed-signal (AMS) IC development
  • Experience with Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits

  • Architecting and designing high-speed mixed-signal communication circuits
  • Simulation, verification, evaluation, debugging, and characterization of high-speed communication transceiver chip sets
  • IC layout and silicon characterization
  • Prepare test methods and specifications
  • Assist in preparation of application information, data sheets, and demo boards
  • Develop solutions to moderately complex problems
  • Routine communication with groups inside & outside Applied Materials
  • Active participation in work groups
