Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead strategic initiatives that drive brand visibility and customer growth beyond paid media
  • Identify, assess, and launch new awareness channels and growth levers — such as partnerships, field activations, SEO programs, or expert communities
  • Work closely with internal teams (Growth, Creative, Product, Ops) to bring ideas to life and measure impact
  • Own project management, timelines, and cross-functional coordination for new initiatives (e.g., product launches, events, brand partnerships)
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, collaborators, and advisors
  • Analyze performance, report on key metrics, and iterate based on learnings
  • Bring a self-starter mentality and “founder’s mindset” to everyday problem-solving

Customers take an online quiz to create a personalized meal plan, and then receive regular deliveries of meals made with fresh ingredients, without artificial additives or fillers. Recipes are developed by veterinary nutritionists and meet or exceed AAFCO standards for all life stages. Compared to competitors, Spot & Tango bypasses traditional retail, enabling fresher products, and emphasizes customization, veterinary-backed formulations, and premium ingredients. UnKibble, which the company describes as a shelf-stable dog food formulated with human-grade ingredients, has surpassed 130 million meals served in the U.S. The product is made using what Spot & Tango calls a fresh-drying process and is developed by veterinary nutritionists. Personalized meal plans are based on a dog's size, age, breed and activity level. According to Spot & Tango, Canada's pet food market was valued at more than $5 billion in 2025 and is growing at an annual rate of 4.46%. The company reports that nearly 40% of Canadian households own a dog and that the country has approximately 8 million dogs.
