Responsibilities
  • Partner with supported Dentists to gain patients' financial commitment to begin diagnosed dentistry treatment.
  • Understand and utilize financial options to support treatment case acceptance.
  • Educate patients on treatment choices and overcome common objections to starting treatment.
  • Keep Dentist schedules productive.
  • Achieve proficiency in the PDS system and tools to assist patients with treatment decisions.
  • Execute the HC Handoff in partnership with each clinician for every examination patient.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on available financial options and provide patients with budget-appropriate choices.
  • Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations before treatment completion.
  • Ensure the office follows the Comprehensive Care Model and manages referrals outside the office.
  • Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings.
  • Understand business imperatives and how the role affects metrics and results.
  • Make decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework.
  • Develop knowledge of the Mouth Body Connection and support clinical excellence through comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

  • Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.
