- Partner with supported Dentists to gain patients' financial commitment to begin diagnosed dentistry treatment.
- Understand and utilize financial options to support treatment case acceptance.
- Educate patients on treatment choices and overcome common objections to starting treatment.
- Keep Dentist schedules productive.
- Achieve proficiency in the PDS system and tools to assist patients with treatment decisions.
- Execute the HC Handoff in partnership with each clinician for every examination patient.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on available financial options and provide patients with budget-appropriate choices.
- Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations before treatment completion.
- Ensure the office follows the Comprehensive Care Model and manages referrals outside the office.
- Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings.
- Understand business imperatives and how the role affects metrics and results.
- Make decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework.
- Develop knowledge of the Mouth Body Connection and support clinical excellence through comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.
- Results-oriented approach, including goal setting, commitment, persistence, and daily prioritization.
- Patient advocacy demonstrated through flexibility, empathy, passion, and ethical conduct.
