Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate with Production teammates, the Supervisor, and cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Facilities and Engineering.
  • Ability to analyze information and make consistently good decisions.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent or higher is required.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience operating equipment, performing product changeovers, cleaning, and basic operational troubleshooting in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical production, including manufacturing and/or packaging.
  • Familiarity with good documentation and correction practices.
  • Experience executing GMP documentation such as batch records, logbooks, and protocols.
  • Knowledge of deviations/incidents and CAPA.
  • Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices, Code of Federal Regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements, and Food and Drug Administration regulations.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move objects weighing 10 to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, climb, or balance as required.
  • Ability to work under indoor and outdoor environmental conditions and perform medium work involving exertion of up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
  • Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust and focus.
Responsibilities
  • Perform batch manufacturing operations according to approved batch records, standard operating procedures, and safety standards.
  • Execute pharmaceutical processing, including filling, coating, and cutting, and perform packaging processes.
  • Verify dispensed raw and packaging materials as required.
  • Conduct in-process checks and sampling during manufacturing and packaging stages.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and production areas according to standard operating procedures and protocols.
  • Assist with basic maintenance, calibration, and verification activities for production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate them when needed to minimize downtime.
  • Complete required forms, logs, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines, and safety procedures.
  • Support departmental developmental, investigative, and quality-related activities.
  • Perform packaging and labeling activities as assigned.
  • Operate various production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in training new operators when required.
  • Make self available for current Good Manufacturing Practice, hands-on, and classroom training and complete applicable training forms in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as balances and calipers.
  • Experience in metered-dose inhaler or topical production.
