Aravo launches Responsible AI app to assess third-party AI risk using NIST framework

Aravo, a third-party risk management provider, has launched Aravo for Responsible AI, an application that helps organisations assess and monitor how vendors and other third parties develop, deploy, and govern artificial intelligence. It is built around the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. The tool offers a structured assessment tailored to a third party's AI use. Teams can evaluate governance, testing, security, and monitoring; gauge inherent risk and control effectiveness; and route findings through existing remediation workflows. "AI risk is becoming a critical part of third-party risk programmes," said Dean Alms, chief product officer at Aravo. It is the first application built with Aravo's new AI Configurator, an engineering tool for rapid development of risk-domain applications.

Aravo earns fifth consecutive Net Zero Contributor certification.

Aravo earns fifth consecutive Net Zero Contributor certification. Third-Party Risk Management Provider Advances Sustainability Goals with Verified Emissions Offset SAN FRANCISCO - October 6, 2026 - Aravo, a leading provider of third-party risk and resilience solutions, has been certified a Net Zero Contributor by Greenly for the fifth year running. The achievement reflects years of measured, third-party verified progress against Aravo's emissions reduction commitments. As part of the certification, Aravo assesses its direct and indirect emissions annually, engages its suppliers on climate impact, and follows a 2°C emission trajectory through 2030. This year's cycle includes a shift to 100% cloud-based infrastructure and a reduction in the number of employees traveling on the same business trip, Aravo's largest source of emissions. "Trust and integrity are the foundation of how we operate, and climate accountability is part of that commitment. Five years of recognition is confirmation that we're on the right track," said Michael Saracini, CEO of Aravo. "Cutting emissions, offsetting what we can't eliminate yet, and reporting it all for independent audit is a standard we are proud to hit each year. We look forward to closing the gap on our 2030 targets with the same real, third-party verified action, rather than a one-time pledge." Aravo's action plan for this certification cycle includes: * Sustainable cloud infrastructure: Aravo's ongoing migration to 100% cloud-based solutions eliminates the energy overhead of maintaining physical server infrastructure. * Reduced travel emissions: Aravo continues to tighten travel policies around shared trips, targeting its single largest source of emissions. * Sustainable IT procurement: Aravo prioritizes refurbished and secondhand IT equipment over new purchases. * Ongoing employee training: Aravo runs continuous training for employees on climate change and related issues. Aravo has also committed to offsetting 10% of its yearly emissions through the Florida N2O Abatement Project with Ascend Performance Materials in Cantonment, Florida. The project captures and destroys nitrous oxide, a gas with 265 times the warming potency of CO2, from an industrial process. It is the largest voluntary N2O abatement project in North America, third-party verified and registered with the Climate Action Reserve. Aravo named Category Leader in Chartis RiskTech Quadrant(R) for Third-Party Risk Management solutions.

Aravo named Category Leader in Chartis RiskTech Quadrant(R) for Third-Party Risk Management solutions. Six Consecutive Years of Recognition as Aravo Expands Its Platform with Native AI SAN FRANCISCO - August 20, 2026 - Aravo, a leading provider of third-party risk and resilience solutions, today announced that for the sixth time in a row, Chartis Research has positioned Aravo as a Category Leader in its RiskTech Quadrant(R) for Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Solutions. The recognition appears in the Chartis Integrated Governance, Resilience and Compliance (GRC) Solutions report, which evaluates the technology vendors that offer core GRC solutions. Aravo offers the purpose-built Intelligence First(TM) Platform and expert services that help organizations manage third-party risk at scale. The platform combines a structured system of record with embedded workflows shaped by decades of enterprise use. This year, Aravo layered in native AI capabilities through Aravo AI, which offers workflow and interactive agents that automate manual processes, surface real-time insights, and support decisions with full transparency and auditability. TPRM is one of the clearest use cases for AI. The work is data-heavy, time-sensitive, and tied directly to business outcomes. Aravo AI is built to deliver on that potential, helping risk teams move faster, reduce manual work, and focus on judgment where it matters most. That intelligence only pays off if people actually use it. That is why Aravo also introduced the Aravo Experience Framework this year to remove the friction that gets in the way of procurement teams and business owners doing their jobs. The human-centered experience layer makes third-party risk management easier, faster, and more intuitive for everyone involved. It personalizes interactions by role and context and embeds AI directly into everyday workflows across the TPRM process. "Six years as a Category Leader reflects how seriously we take the challenges of third-party risk management. Most AI tools weren't built for this work. They sit outside the systems teams use and can't connect to the data that makes decisions trustworthy," said Michael Saracini, CEO at Aravo. "That's what our Intelligence First(TM) Platform was designed to solve. With Aravo AI now embedded directly in the workflow, teams have real-time insight and full visibility into how every recommendation was reached. And with the Aravo Experience Framework, that intelligence fosters intuitive, high-quality risk decisions in a frictionless environment." With more than 25 years of experience, Aravo has helped third-party risk management teams keep pace with growing complexity - from siloed, manual processes to centralized, AI-powered programs. Aravo delivers innovative software solutions across procurement, supply chain, GRC, compliance, and IT, now enhanced by native AI capabilities that automate work and surface real-time insight across the entire third-party lifecycle. Aravo's expertise helps organizations manage large, complex extended enterprises of third-party and Nth-party relationships with the speed and intelligence modern risk programs demand. Chartis determines Category Leaders by evaluating vendors' completeness of offering and market potential. Category Leaders exhibit clear strategies for growth in addition to market-leading solutions. Aravo introduces human-centred third-party risk framework.

Aravo introduces human-centred third-party risk framework. Aravo has launched the Aravo Experience Framework, a new approach to third-party risk management designed to improve collaboration between organisations and their external partners while strengthening risk controls. The framework focuses on creating a more human-centred experience for managing third-party relationships, recognising that effective risk management depends not only on technology and processes but also on engagement between people across organisations. Third-party ecosystems have become increasingly complex as businesses rely on suppliers, vendors, contractors and service providers for critical operations. This dependence has increased exposure to risks including cybersecurity threats, regulatory non-compliance, operational disruptions, financial instability and reputational damage. The Aravo Experience Framework aims to address these challenges by improving how organisations interact with third parties during risk assessment, onboarding, monitoring and remediation processes. The company said traditional third-party risk management approaches often create friction through lengthy questionnaires, manual processes and limited communication. A more collaborative approach can help organisations collect better risk information while maintaining stronger relationships with suppliers. The framework combines technology-enabled workflows, improved user experiences and risk intelligence to help organisations manage third-party relationships more efficiently. Effective third-party risk management requires continuous monitoring rather than one-time assessments. Organisations need to understand changing supplier conditions, emerging threats and regulatory requirements throughout the relationship lifecycle. The launch reflects the growing importance of third-party risk as businesses become more interconnected. Supply chain disruptions, cyber incidents and regulatory expectations have made supplier governance a key priority for enterprise risk teams. By focusing on both risk control and stakeholder experience, the framework aims to help organisations build stronger, more resilient third-party ecosystems. The new layer combines modern design with embedded artificial intelligence, personalising interactions based on user roles and context. It surfaces relevant data at decision points and integrates AI recommendations directly into workflows whilst keeping humans in control. The framework aims to reduce friction for all stakeholders, from risk professionals to business owners and third parties.
