Requirements
  • Previous technical experience in sales or customer service within the wholesale or distribution sector is required.
  • Knowledge of the local market for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration products is an asset.
  • General computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office, is required; experience with the AS400 system is an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service and professional communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide customers with product information quickly and professionally as the first point of contact.
  • Respond to customers in a timely manner in person, by telephone, or by email.
  • Prepare quotes for small urgent-job orders.
  • Research products in catalogs and online.
  • Verify that all items are available for the customer according to the order and schedule.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers and associates.
  • Take the initiative to restock the area near the counter as needed.
  • Prepare, package, and ship customer orders, including preparing shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with transportation companies and internal and external customers to determine shipping priorities.

  • Knowledge of the local market for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration products.
  • Experience with the AS400 system.
