About the job
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, biomedical engineering, supply chain management, business administration, healthcare management, or a related field.
- Seven to ten years of progressive experience in project management, medical equipment planning, procurement, or logistics management, including at least five years of planning, procurement, or specification experience in medical equipment order management.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally to client or project sites as needed, including travel to the United States and Mexico.
- Familiarity with medical equipment products, manufacturers, suppliers, and the overall process.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and with external clients and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage project-specific communications and order management.
- Experience with Attainia PLAN-IT or a similar database for medical equipment planning.
- Manage project scope and assist in preparing proposals and invoicing.
- Manage project kickoffs, budget report-outs, and customer decisions.
- Manage project deliverables and maintain document controls.
- Manage and delegate work across a team.
- Review vendors’ product data, medical equipment lists, vendor drawings, and vendor quotations to determine whether equipment meets specifications.
- Review medical equipment drawings in PDF and perform quality-control reviews using equipment lists and specifications.
- Manage vendor communications, requests for quotations, clarifications, purchase-order receipt confirmations, and project-specific delivery and installation requirements.
- Manage equipment lists and estimates through procurement.
- Participate in value analysis, assess product costs and benefits, and develop comparison spreadsheets or exhibits.
- Maintain client communications through emails, video or conference calls, and on-site meetings; prepare agendas, document meeting notes, and complete follow-ups.
- Review and edit equipment lists in a database for models, accessories, and pricing.
- Conduct procurement kickoff meetings covering requirements, workflow, and documentation for requisitions, quotes, and vendor proposals.
- Develop procurement schedules aligned with project phases and bundle selections across projects when applicable.
- Provide technical specifications, schedules, warranty, installation, and training requirements.
- Review quotes, compare offers, evaluate compliance, and obtain owner approval.
- Communicate specification changes with the owner and architect.
- Prepare requisition packets for the owner to issue purchase orders.
- Generate purchase-order packets, send them to vendors, and confirm lead times.
- Review and reconcile purchase orders for accuracy.
- Track and expedite deliveries to meet project schedules.
- Schedule and attend vendor pre-installation site visits for specialized equipment.
- Confirm site logistics, access routes, and installation sequencing.
- Assist in identifying warehouse receiving and delivery-service options.
- Meet with warehouse providers to discuss protocols and documentation expectations.
- Manage delivery details, including pull lists, inspections, deliveries, and other instructions.
- Oversee equipment delivery, placement, and installation during move-in.
- Conduct walkthroughs, punch lists, and site-readiness checks.
- Communicate installation progress with asset tagging and acceptance testing.
- Coordinate vendor training schedules with the owner and connect training representatives with the owner’s team.
- Provide final documentation, vendor contacts, and order details for reference.
- Supply training notes and confirm completion of all in-service activities.
- A master's degree.
- PMP or CPSM certification.

Mountain states & Southwest people news for november/december 2025. November 21, 2025 Bruce Crankshaw has been promoted to executive vice president of business operations at Big-D Cos. Crankshaw's focus will be on simplifying processes, sharing best practices and supporting Big-D's business units. Crankshaw previously served as chief operating officer at the Leavitt Group and most recently was executive vice president at Loveland Innovations. The Beck Group has appointed Tim Neely as health care project architect in its Denver office. Neely brings 17 years of experience to the role, including expertise on large hospital campuses and specialized pediatric facilities. He serves as chair of the AIA Colorado Academy of Architecture for Health and served two terms on the planning commission for the town of Littleton, Colo. Sundt Construction recently promoted Melissa Love to the role of preconstruction manager for Sundt's Southwest Building Group. Love has nearly 15 years of experience at Sundt and more than two decades in the construction industry. Love most recently served as preconstruction project manager on the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's T3 Residence Halls and Strategic Academic Flight Education Building. She has also served as a project controls manager, driving innovation in preconstruction technology and improving collaboration among clients, architects and Sundt's project teams. First Baptist Church has selected the Beck Group, one of Dallas' best known design and construction companies, to lead the rebuilding the church's historic sanctuary after a four-alarm fire destroyed it in July, church officials said.
