- Candidates must have experience coaching youth soccer; candidates without prior experience will not be considered.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a grassroots coaching license.
- Candidates must own reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 45 minutes one-way to coaching locations.
- Candidates must be available during weekday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with at least one day of weekend availability.
- Candidates must be punctual, willing to learn, and able to accept feedback.
- Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills.
- Candidates must be motivated, energetic, patient, and attentive.
- Act as the face and front line of Super Soccer Stars in each class by interacting daily with parents, directors, club board members, and children.
- Deliver energetic and enjoyable coaching sessions in line with the Soccer Stars progressive curriculum.
- Report directly to the territory manager on all aspects of the coaching role.
- Engage and challenge all players, help them accomplish development goals and milestones, and inspire a love of soccer in a fun, team-based environment.
- Communicate issues clearly to the leadership team and develop solutions to challenges.
- Arrive on time and allow sufficient time to commute to training sessions and games.
- Provide hands-on individual and group attention to players during training sessions and game-day coaching.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- Prior experience coaching travel soccer is desirable.
- Availability to coach game days on weekends is preferred.
- Experience in or a strong desire to work in a club team environment.
