Pluralsight launches AI MCP bringing expert-led learning into AI workflows.

Pluralsight launches AI MCP bringing expert-led learning into AI workflows. Oct 14, 2026 Skill IQ Suite(TM) and redesigned Analytics help leaders prove the ROI of upskilling while expanded translations broaden access Westlake, Texas - October 14, 2026 - Pluralsight, the leading technology learning platform, today launched Pluralsight AI MCP at Pluralsight Shift, its annual customer conference, connecting supported AI tools with Pluralsight's expert-led learning content and skills data. Leaders can develop learning plans aligned to business goals, assign it to their teams, and connect the results to the KPI and ROI metrics they already track, all without leaving their AI workflows. Pluralsight also announced Skill IQ Suite(TM), a portfolio of purpose-built skill assessments; a redesigned Analytics experience; and expanded translations across its most-watched courses. Together, the releases help organizations build critical technology skills, validate proficiency, and prepare teams to execute on business priorities. At a Glance * Pluralsight AI MCP: Access expert-led learning content and skills data within supported enterprise AI platforms. * Skill IQ Suite(TM): Rank learners against peers with Skill IQ Discovery(TM), build certification readiness with Skill IQ Prep(TM), and confirm proficiency against an expert-defined standard with Skill IQ Verified(TM). * Analytics: Redesigned to include duration-weighted progress percentages, new time tracking metrics, and a new dedicated analytics page for learners. * Course Translations: More than 1,300 additional courses in both German and Spanish, and more than 1,700 courses now available in Canadian French. Skills gaps are stalling work. In Pluralsight's 2026 Tech Skills Report, 69% of organizations said they've abandoned a project because they lacked the right skills. Yet, only 29% track whether their upskilling changes their business KPIs, so many can't tell whether their learning investments are closing the gap at all. "Leaders don't need more course completions," said Michael Ross, Chief Product Officer at Pluralsight. "They need to know their people can do the work, and that it moves the business forward. With this release, Pluralsight shows up inside the AI tools teams already use, in the languages they speak, and backs it with skills and ROI data leaders can trust. That gives leaders stronger evidence of workforce readiness and a clearer basis for directing their learning investments." Pluralsight AI MCP: Learning Built Around Your Business Pluralsight AI MCP connects supported AI tools with expert-led learning, labs, and analytics, helping teams find relevant learning within their existing AI workflows. Leaders can start with a business goal, whether it's improving a team KPI, working in a specific codebase, or onboarding a new cohort. With one prompt, AI MCP builds a learning plan for the team. From the same tool, leaders can then ask whether that learning is making a difference and get answers grounded in their own data. Learners can find relevant learning clips and generate personalized learning guides within supported AI tools, making it easier to address skill gaps as they work. The integration retrieves learning content from Pluralsight's expert-built library, not the open web, so teams get guidance they can trust. Access is read-only, and customer data stays in the customer's environment. Pluralsight AI MCP measures the ROI of learning. With a single prompt to any MCP-enabled AI platform, Pluralsight AI MCP can create a learning impact report that shows how upskilling increased cycle times, resolved more tickets, or how the increase in productivity led to cost savings and ROI across the business. Then, Pluralsight AI MCP recommends the next step in a team's learning journey, pulling course paths directly from Pluralsight's platform. Pluralsight AI MCP supports Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT Enterprise, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot Studio. It's available today at no additional cost. All customers have access to the MCP today within their AI tools. Skill IQ Suite(TM): Proving Learning Works Most leaders know what skills their teams need, but far fewer can confirm their people have them. Research shows that 64% of leaders are very confident they know which skills employees need, yet only 43% are very confident employees actually possess them. Skill IQ Suite replaces guesswork with evidence: * Skill IQ Discovery(TM)(formerly Skill IQ(TM) is a fast, comparative assessment that shows where learners rank against peers. Learners get course recommendations for their weakest topics, and leaders see skill distribution across their teams. * Skill IQ Prep(TM)(formerly Practice Exams) prepares learners for industry certification exams with practice aligned to exam objectives. Domain-level results show learners where to focus before test day. * Skill IQ Verified(TM)(new) measures proficiency against an expert-defined standard, rather than peer performance. Subject matter experts build each assessment using an established standard-setting approach, grounded in Classical Test Theory and psychometric best practices. Learners receive a Pass/Not Pass result and course recommendations targeted to their skill gaps. Assessments span across AI, cybersecurity, cloud, data, and software delivery, available in English, Japanese, Spanish, French, Chinese, and German. Closing the gap between assumed skills and proven skills changes how organizations invest in their people. When leaders can see where skills actually stand, they can point learning at real needs instead of guesses, and they can show the results. "It's clear the structured approach we've taken with Pluralsight has had a significant impact," said Kais Abdelhedi, VP, Business Executive, CM Technology Services at FIS. "This investment in upskilling is paying off with tangible results." Redesigned Analytics: Connecting Learning to Impact The redesigned Analytics experience helps leaders identify participation, practice gaps, and review learning progress across their teams. Progress calculations weight tasks by estimated duration, while new metrics track learning and practice time across courses, labs, assessments, sandboxes, and cloud environments. Paired with AI MCP, leaders can securely bring that data in their AI tool of choice so the data never leaves the customers' control. Completions and Skill IQ(TM) results flow back to learner records in HR systems including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Cornerstone. Updated dashboards let leaders filter by learning type and learner. A new My Analytics page gives learners access to the same underlying learning data used in the leader view. Skill IQ Suite(TM) and the redesigned Analytics are included in the platform at no additional cost. Translations: Broadening Access to Expert Learning Pluralsight has expanded access to expert-led learning with translated audio for more than 1,300 additional courses in both German and Spanish. It has also introduced more than 1,700 courses in Canadian French. Courses available with translations account for approximately 80% of video viewing on the platform. Learners can find translated courses with the language filter in course search. FG targets 10m global talent, 1m export jobs by 2030.

FG targets 10m global talent, 1m export jobs by 2030. The Federal Government has set a target of producing 10 million globally certified Nigerians and creating one million export-linked jobs by 2030, as it moves to position Nigerian talent for opportunities in the global outsourcing and digitally enabled services market. Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa made the disclosure at the Hire From Nigeria side event on the margins of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York. Alausa said the Federal Ministry of Education was leading the supply side of the National Talent Export Programme by building a pipeline of trained, certified and adaptable Nigerians whose skills match global employment demand. He said: "Nigeria's greatest asset is its people: a young, ambitious, English-speaking and increasingly digitally capable population. Our task in Education is to turn that scale into verified competence and reliable service deliver." The minister noted that Nigeria's youthful population, English-language advantage and growing digital capabilities provided a strong base for competing in the global services economy, which could create jobs, increase export earnings and allow Nigerians to build international careers without leaving the country. He however identified the mismatch between training and employer demand, limited work-based learning and inadequate access to internationally recognised certification as major gaps in the talent pipeline. Discover more Nigerian political commentary Entertainment news digest Business news analysis To address these, the minister said the government was pursuing curriculum reform, stronger accreditation and quality assurance, alongside expanded digital and technical training. "We need a permanent employer-led feedback loop, not occasional curriculum reviews," he said, urging employers to participate in programme design, training, assessment, certification and recruitment. Alausa disclosed that the Federal Government's free TVET programme had received more than one million applications, with 160,000 trainees supported through about 1,200 centres nationwide. He said the government was also expanding digital skills training, noting that the Digital Training Academy was partnering with learning providers, including Coursera and Pluralsight, to give 32,000 Nigerians free access to professional digital and technology courses. The training covers areas including cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, software development, fintech, quantum computing and natural language processing. On artificial intelligence, Alausa said Nigeria must train young people to work with emerging technologies rather than compete with them on routine tasks. Discover more News article archive "We must train young people to work with artificial intelligence, not to compete with it on routine tasks." He identified judgement, creativity, domain knowledge, data literacy, cybersecurity, cloud services, software development, quality assurance and AI-enabled operations among the skills increasingly required in the changing labour market. The minister also urged international employers, Business Process Outsourcing operators, investors and development partners to move beyond expressions of interest and establish practical partnerships capable of producing employable talent. He asked employers to define their skills requirements, co-design training programmes, provide work-based learning, recognise credible Nigerian certifications and recruit from Nigerian talent pools. BPO operators and investors, he added, should expand delivery centres beyond Nigeria's major commercial cities while supporting training infrastructure, connectivity and quality systems. Alausa said the ministry would deepen industry participation in curriculum development and certification, expand market-relevant TVET and digital-skills pathways and strengthen the link between education institutions, training providers and employers. He said the initiative was part of the ministry's role in the National Talent Export Programme and aligned with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda on human capital development, job creation, skills acquisition and inclusive economic growth. Pluralsight launches AI Ready to transform AI coding investments into verified engineering skills

Pluralsight has launched AI Ready, a managed upskilling programme designed to help engineering teams develop advanced AI coding skills. The programme addresses the gap between AI tool adoption and effective implementation, responding to research showing 95% of AI pilots fail due to skill deficits and strategic misalignments. AI Ready combines live instruction, hands-on practice, and verified assessment to help organisations move beyond basic code autocomplete. The programme guides teams through three stages: AI-assisted coding, AI agent development, and orchestrating multi-agent systems. The offering expands Pluralsight's enterprise AI portfolio alongside its existing AI Academy. Whilst AI Academy focuses on foundational AI fluency for all teams, AI Ready targets engineering organisations that have deployed AI tools but need to scale and verify advanced capabilities.
