- Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy efficiency, utilities, clean energy, HVAC, workforce development, training, or a related field.
- Experience in developing presentations, training materials and deliver training.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and virtual learning platforms.
- Ability to travel throughout Illinois.
- Develop and deliver engaging virtual and in-person training programs.
- Create curriculum, presentations, participant guides, and training materials.
- Educate participants on energy efficiency, clean energy, electrification, utility careers, and emerging industry trends.
- Support training related to certifications such as BPI, EPA 608, OSHA-10, CPR/First Aid, and other energy-related credentials.
- Track participant progress, attendance, and training outcomes
- Represent the program at industry meetings.
- Coordinate and assist with the training setup, organization, and management of training locations, classrooms, labs, test house, equipment and training materials.
- Other duties as assigned- Assist with special initiatives, events, training and workforce development activities as needed.
- Highly preferred certifications such as BA-P, EPA 608, OSHA-10/30, NABCEP or NCCER.
- NCCER & NABCEP certifications are highly preferred: Qualified candidates without these certifications will be considered.
- Experience with workforce development programs and energy-related training.
- Experience working with diverse populations and career pathway programs.
