Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in tangible or intangible sales is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and detail-orientation skills are required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Account Executives and the National Sales Manager with marketing and promotions coordination efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Finance, Production, and Activations departments.
  • Enter, review, and revise orders and provide the Traffic department with instructions and spots.
  • Manage preemptions.
  • Request inventory updates for makegood offers.
  • Research rating-point equivalents.
  • Offer makegoods and follow through with Account Executives for makegood approval.
  • Confirm and process orders and makegoods in WideOrbit, ePort, the Account Executive inbox, and Katz Media Group.
  • Request copy points, logos, images, and prizes from clients for production.
  • Coordinate in-station executions and manage station events and client remotes when needed.
  • Pull revenue, competitive, and historical reports from various sales applications to support the Sales team.
  • Enter missing copy and production requests through VCreative.
  • Update various sales trackers.
  • Create PowerPoint event recaps for clients after on-site events in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile end-of-month invoices.
  • Process co-op requests, including translating television and radio scripts when needed.
  • Research paperwork for credit memos.
  • Provide sales backup when needed.

TelevisaUnivision's US advertising revenue fell 29% to $323.3 million in the second quarter, hit by cyclical headwinds and competition from NBCUniversal's Telemundo, which aired the FIFA World Cup. Telemundo generated $403.6 million in advertising revenue from the tournament between 11 June and 19 July, according to iSpot.tv estimates. The decline was offset by stronger performance in Mexico, where TelevisaUnivision holds World Cup broadcast rights. Mexican advertising revenue rose 23% to $353 million. Overall company advertising revenue dropped 9% to $676.3 million. However, subscription and licensing revenue climbed 40% to $621 million, boosted by sublicensing World Cup rights to Latin American countries and growth in the ViX streaming service. Total revenue across both markets increased 10% to $1.33 billion.
