About the job

Requirements
  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant sales, business development, partnerships, or revenue-growth experience.
  • A demonstrated track record of generating meaningful revenue.
  • Experience prospecting and developing new business rather than only servicing existing accounts.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline from initial outreach through close.
  • Confidence conducting cold outreach and visiting prospective partner locations in person.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing or mentoring employees.
  • Strong business judgment and comfort working with numbers.
  • Ability to identify opportunities independently.
  • Strong follow-through and personal accountability.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Long Island and Eastern Queens.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and close partnerships with schools, school districts and PTAs, preschools and childcare centers, municipalities and parks and recreation departments, summer camps, soccer clubs and youth organizations, community centers, and other organizations serving children and families.
  • Prospect, make calls, conduct in-person visits, run discovery meetings, develop proposals, negotiate agreements, and move opportunities through the pipeline until they close.
  • Work with the President and CEO to identify opportunities to grow company revenue, including launching programming with new school districts, expanding childcare partnerships, increasing enrollment at underperforming locations, developing camps or leagues, expanding existing customers into additional programs, reactivating previous families, and finding new revenue opportunities.
  • Analyze enrollment by location, season, class, and age group, and develop plans to increase registrations and fill available capacity.
  • Work with operations and marketing teams on promotions, demos, customer outreach, re-enrollment campaigns, new locations, schedule changes, and local partnerships.
  • Expand successful partnerships into additional locations, days, seasons, camps and school-break programs, age groups, programs, schools, and facilities within the same organization.
  • Manage the Partnerships Coordinator and potentially additional team members supporting revenue growth.
  • Set team expectations, review pipeline activity, coach outreach and selling skills, establish weekly priorities, and hold the team accountable for results.
  • Personally sell while leading the team.
  • Own revenue growth and business results; success is measured by revenue growth, new partnership revenue, qualified opportunities, close rate, partnership expansion, public-program enrollment and fill rates, camp and seasonal-program growth, re-enrollment and retention, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and team performance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling products or services to schools, school districts, preschools, childcare organizations, camps, municipalities, recreation departments, youth organizations, or multi-location businesses.
  • Existing relationships throughout Long Island or Queens.

About the company

Super Soccer Stars runs youth soccer development programs in the United States, offering age-appropriate curricula through classes, camps, and private sessions. Programs are mobile—held in schools, parks, and community centers—with a low child-to-coach ratio and a non-competitive, educational focus that builds soccer skills, motor abilities, social skills, and physical literacy. It differentiates itself by prioritizing development and confidence in a supportive setting and by a scalable franchising model that began in 2022, plus national growth after its 2021 acquisition. The goal is to help children gain fundamental skills and self-confidence through accessible youth soccer and to expand the program into a multi-brand national sports platform.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • August 2026 Falfurrias capital gives franchisees more tools, training, marketing, and operational support.
  • September 2026 partnerships and new San Francisco registrations show active local expansion.
  • World Cup 2026 coverage and registration campaigns should lift demand through early 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Territory exclusivity is weak; FDDs allow overlapping franchises and company-owned units outside territories.
  • Venue access drives revenue; losing a school or park contract kills local classes immediately.
  • Quality-control failure across 400-plus territories would shatter trust and franchise resale value.

What makes Super Soccer Stars unique

  • Curriculum-based, non-competitive soccer for ages 1-18 sets Soccer Stars apart.
  • Mobile classes in parks, schools, and centers keep overhead structurally low.
  • Youth Athletes United's 2026 Falfurrias investment strengthens shared franchising, training, and marketing.
