Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Python and backend development
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and orchestration frameworks
  • Proven ability to design systems that combine tool use, memory, and autonomous reasoning
  • Bias for action and a track record of shipping prototypes that evolve into production
  • Entrepreneurial spirit — you thrive in ambiguity, build from scratch, and think in systems
  • Bonus: Familiarity with FastAPI, GraphQL, or backend ERP workflows
Responsibilities
  • Build the LLM orchestration layer using multi-agent frameworks
  • Design agentic workflows that track state, propose actions, and complete multi-step tasks
  • Create structured prompting systems with function-calling, memory, and safety constraints
  • Prototype agent behavior: retries, fallback logic, chained reasoning, reactive flows
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to power natural language-driven UIs
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging frameworks for performance, safety, and extensibility
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with FastAPI, GraphQL, or backend ERP workflows

Flow by Ironflow AI is an AI-native ERP built for defense technology, aerospace, energy, and other regulated manufacturing. It functions as a live decision system that merges structured production data, AI reasoning, and workflow automation to analyze in real time and automatically carry out actions, with AI agents interpreting user intent to achieve a requested outcome. Unlike traditional ERPs, Flow is designed for high-regulation industries with features like multi-level bills of materials, engineering change control, and secure ITAR/FedRAMP-compliant data hosting in the United States. The goal is to provide proactive insights and rapid iteration across production and supply chain, while progressively adding modules for finance, project accounting, and compliance to form an end-to-end, modular enterprise platform.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Ironflow launched publicly in November 2025 and is still hiring in September 2026.
  • June 2026 job posts cite real customers, signaling early traction.
  • Knox Systems’ July 2026 case study shows 300-plus FedRAMP controls implemented.

What critics are saying

  • No named customers, revenue, or deployments are publicly disclosed as of September 2026.
  • SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and DELMIA can bundle finance, compliance, and planning faster.
  • One failed FedRAMP review or lost design partner can stall Ironflow before scale.

What makes Ironflow AI unique

  • Founded 2025 by Marine and factory operators, not generic SaaS founders.
  • Flow runs on AWS GovCloud and FedRAMP High, aligning with ITAR workflows.
  • AI agents automate BOMs, engineering changes, procurement, and production decisions.
