Requirements
  • Knowledge and competency commonly associated with completing a Bachelor's degree and/or workforce development, plus sales experience.
  • Three to five years of related experience managing multiple programs and priorities, developing and maintaining client relationships, coordinating workforce training, and supervising assigned employees.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing business clients to identify workforce training needs and opportunities; promote Center for Workforce Development programs and services; prepare proposals and responses to requests for proposals; and develop training agreements to support enrollment and revenue goals.
  • Develop new programs and certifications that support workforce development needs of employers and employees.
  • Supervise assigned adjunct employees and participate in recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, and employee development in accordance with College policies and under the Director's direction.
  • Achieve monthly and annual proposal, enrollment, and revenue goals by integrating marketing, operations, and financial knowledge.
  • Occasionally facilitate StrengthsFinder or DISC training for the College and/or businesses.
  • Recruit and interview potential instructors and, in coordination with other staff, schedule classes and assign instructors; work with Human Resources to hire and onboard new adjunct faculty.
  • Oversee research, analysis, and recommendations for new business opportunities and training sales options, considering organizational growth initiatives, regional markets, target customer segments, and the Center for Workforce Development's ability to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement plans to increase existing business and capture new opportunities for workforce development classes among existing customers and new markets.
  • Schedule client-driven classes, assign instructors, and coordinate logistics with the Operations Team to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports using real data and business trends and opportunities.
  • Represent the College to students, outside agencies, community partners, and colleges, including departmental advisory committees, demonstrating cultural competency, diversity, and inclusivity.
  • Monitor and review instructor performance through evaluations and discuss evaluations with instructors as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
