About the job
- Must be able to travel to the clinic location in Yuma, Arizona.
- A degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work is required.
- Current or pending Arizona license (LAC/LPC, LMSW/LCSW, LAMFT/LMFT, or Psy.D) is required, along with a commitment to ethical practice.
- Proficiency in mental health diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation is required.
- CPR/First Aid certification and a valid Arizona fingerprint clearance are required.
- The role requires working within an electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with patients and their natural supports to develop and implement effective service plans, explain available clinical options, and identify their advantages and disadvantages.
- Provide clinically appropriate psychotherapy services in accordance with applicable ethical codes, rules, and regulations.
- Serve as the point of contact for coordination and communication with other systems when clinical knowledge of the case is crucial.
- Assist in screening and coordinating integrated services for patients.
- Provide clinical oversight to ensure provision of covered services identified in service plans, referrals to community services as appropriate, coordination between inpatient and outpatient settings, and other needed services and supports.
- Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness through ongoing assessments of patients and their natural supports, modifying service plans as necessary.
- Participate in individual and group supervision that meets Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners standards and organizational policy.
- Maintain client records.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Experience using Advance MD is preferred.
- A forward-thinking approach that welcomes telehealth is desired.
- Enthusiasm for a performance-based compensation plan is desired.
