About the company

Freedom Caregivers helps older adults and others who need daily assistance remain in their own homes across Ohio. Its caregivers assist with personal routines, household tasks, companionship and respite for family members, with clinical staff helping oversee care needs. Services range from help with bathing, dressing and mobility to meals, errands, appointment transportation and wellness checks, and schedules adapt as clients need more or less support. Local offices coordinate caregivers and families across northwest and north-central Ohio, with care available through private payment and selected insurance or benefit programs. Founded in 2013 by a physical therapist and a nurse, Freedom Caregivers grew from a small local home-care practice.
