Requirements
  • A social work diploma is required.
  • Membership in the Quebec Order of Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists is required.
  • Experience in SAD and significant experience in social support are required.
  • Knowledge of social and legislative services and programs is required.
  • A driver's license is preferred.
  • Must be mobile to travel to remote regions and have schedule flexibility.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and work autonomously.
Responsibilities
  • Assess beneficiaries' situations through listening, needs analysis, and social interviews.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Assist beneficiaries with administrative and social procedures.
  • Participate in follow-up and evaluation meetings with social partners.
  • Promote access to rights and citizenship.
  • Monitor existing assistance and support programs.
  • Provide psychological and moral support when necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address social challenges and support individuals or families experiencing social vulnerability.
Desired Qualifications
  • A driver's license is desired.
