Salary Range: 200000 to 230000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)
5W Public Relations is seeking a Senior Vice President for our growing Food & Beverage practice. The role provides senior level, strategic counsel to clients and leadership and will participate in agency and operational management, including the growth of new business and managing the talent within their team. This position is responsible for leading and managing a large range of clients, as well as maintaining client satisfaction and propelling business growth.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Lead the relationship with senior level clients and act as the recognized source of expertise and counsel in key client relationships, understanding all aspects of the business and future offerings
- Provide leadership to grow the agency’s visibility and reputation through development of new business initiatives
- Demonstrate ownership of accounts, within the Consumer, Food & Beverage sector, and develop results-oriented, creative and innovative strategic plans
- Provide top-tier strategic counsel, and maintain responsibility for setting a standard of excellent and consistent quality work
- Assist and problem solve with account team members on day-to-day issues
- Ensure high standard of client service and provide outstanding strategic and analytical counsel to clients and account team members on day-to-day issues
- Lead account management functions, including financial management, client plans and presentations and overall client satisfaction
- Drive quality and effectiveness of existing business and consistently and organically sell new business ideas and develop ideas to expand programs, resulting in superior client product and increase in agency revenues
- Coach, mentor and motivate junior staff
Here’s what you’ll have:
- 12+ years of experience, with at least half in an agency setting
- Passion and knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry
- Strong writer of client programs and strategic documents
- Deep knowledge and expertise in the Consumer, Food & Beverage sector
- Ability to maintain and expand successful relationships with existing clients and aggressively pursue and convert new business leads into clients
- Proven experience motivating and growing a team
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional communications programs and delivering on set targets
- Strong communication, leadership/supervisory skills and the ability to multi-task
