Marine Personnel Assistant - AETM pool
About the job
- Report directly to the respective pool manager, scheduler, or Marine Personnel Officer.
- Verify documents using Form AE-MHR 03, prepare joining papers, and complete documentation for personnel joining vessels.
- Promptly update computer data, scanned documents, and personal files.
- Raise vendor requisitions for medical supplies and personal protective equipment for seafarers.
- Dispatch mail to vessels, maintain records of mail dispatch, and connect flag-state certificates to vessels.
- Verify daily computer-data updates for officers and ratings, including joining, signing off, and reporting back.
- Follow up on full-term flag-state licenses through delivery to the vessel or individual, and process relevant flag-state documentation and proof of application.
- Complete pre-departure checks using AEI MHR 17 and process seafarers’ claims using AE-MHR 36.
- Act as backup for the Marine Personnel Officer and take over the officer’s tasks as needed.
