Requirements
  • Graduation from or current enrollment in an allied health program.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or as a Registered Vascular Specialist from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
  • Alternatively, eligibility to sit for the Registered Vascular Technologist or Registered Vascular Specialist examination and obtaining the registry within six months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to work independently with patients of all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
  • Perform vascular imaging as the core clinical function using imaging equipment and systems.
  • Work a 40-hour weekly schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with every fourth weekend rotation and weekly evening on-call coverage.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate degree in allied health or applied science, or completion of a certificate or training program.
  • Experience in ultrasound or sonography.
