- Working knowledge of PC software including Microsoft Windows and Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bookings, SharePoint, social media platforms, CSI NuPoint, IMM, Covalent, Power BI, Smartsheet, and other bank-approved software systems.
- Ability to resolve client problems by listening to understand, evaluating options, and recommending and implementing solutions.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work and lead within a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple bank initiatives and client and team needs simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

- Demonstrated comprehension of consumer credit, including loan-to-value, debt-to-income, and credit reports.
- Ability to adopt new technology, system conversions, and software rollouts through successful implementation.
- Ability to interact with business partners such as Investment Services, Mortgage, and Business Banking sales professionals.
- Two or more years of management experience, preferably in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales with an emphasis on consumer and business development.
- Client service experience.
- Assist in the supervision of the branch team.
- Help reach branch sales goals and deliver client experience expectations.
- Identify prospects, retain and deepen existing bank client relationships, and recommend value-added bank products and services.
- Handle client service needs and new account openings for personal and business clients, identify opportunities, and make referrals to other lines of business.
- Ensure operational soundness of the branch through completion, training, inspecting, and coaching on retail policies and procedures.
- Support the Branch Manager with coaching, training, and development of branch associates.
- Lead and motivate associates based on the company mission, Essentials of Excellence, and values.
- Use independent judgment and safe and sound decision-making to limit risk to clients and the bank.
- Cultivate relationships with clients, associates, branches, departments, external companies, and organizations.
- Support training and career development for branch associates.
- Assist with developing and implementing strategies to meet or exceed branch goals and increase market share.
- Participate in and assist with overseeing the Servant Sales process according to established guidelines.
- Counsel clients on financial needs, complete account openings, and originate and close loans.
- Maintain and expand existing customer and business banking relationships.
- Ensure bank policies and standard operational procedures are consistently applied throughout the branch.
- Work with Retail Operations to address branch questions, concerns, and issues.
- Lead operational duties including opening and closing the branch, verifying weekly currency shipments, maintaining branch appearance, assisting associates with drawer balancing and error resolution, preparing reports, and balancing the branch ATM and vault.
- Assist with coaching and mentoring associates to improve results.
- Create schedules based on expected branch traffic and volume.
- Oversee branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.
- Handle and resolve client concerns efficiently, with management assistance when needed.
- Represent the bank through virtual and outside community involvement, external initiatives, and volunteerism.
- Assist the Branch Manager with team performance management, including performance reviews, salary recommendations, coaching, action plans, schedules, hiring, discipline, and termination.
- Supervise a branch with multiple lines of business and collaborate with each line of business to meet client needs.
- Mentor associates on various tasks and assignments.
- Work evenings, some weekends, and at other branches as needed.
- Complete online courses and internal seminars to foster professional expertise and career development.
- Follow the Essentials of Excellence and exhibit corporate values in internal and external interactions.
- A bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
