Requirements
  • Foundational knowledge with 3 years of experience in data analysis, information technology cost tracking, budgeting, or financial reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of and working experience with Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to compare data, identify discrepancies, and help reconcile data from disparate reporting sources.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to assist in documenting business cases and variance reports clearly and accurately.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • Eligibility for a position designated with Tier 1 / Low Risk sensitivity following a government background investigation.
Responsibilities
  • Collect and compile data from cost estimators and cost-reporting portals to update and maintain existing cost trackers.
  • Assist in preparing annual spend reports by gathering historical spend data and formatting it for trend analysis.
  • Support data collection for budgeting, budget forecasting, and pricing analysis for current and future contract years.
  • Help monitor budget-versus-actual costs, identify potential discrepancies, and gather supporting documentation for senior review.
  • Assist in compiling and classifying cost data across assigned Enterprise Agreements and platforms, including license, cloud credit, and professional service costs.
  • Support reconciliation of cost data pulled from multiple, often inconsistent sources, including billing portals, licensing dashboards, and financial systems, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Maintain existing cost dashboards and assist in building standard reporting views using approved dashboarding and cost-reporting tools.
  • Help track cost, schedule, and performance data for reporting to EISO Program Managers.
  • Input data into cost-estimating tools to support senior analysts in producing cost/benefit assessments that weigh functional benefits, technical performance, and risk.
  • Summarize data findings and draft initial reports to support strategic recommendations made by Senior Analysts and the Program Manager.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with, or a strong ability to learn, data visualization and dashboarding/cost-reporting platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Interest in or basic exposure to enterprise information technology hardware/software agreements, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or comparable agreements.
