  • Relevant prior work or internship experience, or currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, financial systems, technology, or related technology functions.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Ability to work full-time during the internship period.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Gain hands-on experience in Finance Transformation, System Enhancement, Application Engineering, End-User Support, and Agentic AI.
  • Apply AI and analytics to expedite software development and enhancement requests.
  • Support the design, testing, and enhancement of software leveraging AI agents, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions, collaborating closely with Product Management and team members.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Data, and Technology teams to deliver requirements and translate business needs into product capabilities.
  • Analyze applications and data to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and modernization.
  • Own project deliverables and present insights, recommendations, and outcomes to business and technology leaders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Coursework, projects, research, internship, volunteer, or leadership experience in Software Development, Application Enhancements, Financial Systems, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into developing solutions.
  • Interest in Finance Transformation, digital products, software development, automation, and emerging AI technologies.
  • Experience with Power BI, Azure Platform, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience leading teams or organizations.

Acuity reports $4.6B full-year sales, up 7%, with adjusted diluted EPS rising 11% to $19.90

Acuity Inc. reported fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 net sales of $1.2 billion, up 3% year-over-year, and full-year sales of $4.6 billion, up 7%. The industrial technology company posted diluted earnings per share of $5.63 for the quarter, up 56%, and $17.05 for the full year, up 36%. Adjusted diluted EPS reached $5.77 in Q4, an 11% increase, and $19.90 for the full year, also up 11%. The company generated $826 million in cash flow from operations during fiscal 2026. During the quarter, Acuity received $44.9 million in tariff refunds and incurred $17.8 million in special charges related to product portfolio and supply chain initiatives. The company repaid $200 million of its term loan, increased its dividend by 18%, and repurchased over 940,000 shares for $287.2 million.
