Requirements
  • College degree required
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Minimum three years payroll experience
  • Experience using Access, Excel and HRIS (Lawson preferred)
  • Knowledge, experience, and ability to research and understand complex regulations
Responsibilities
  • Process, manage, and review payroll
  • Understand Federal, state, local, and foreign payroll requirements
  • Respond to unemployment claim and employment verification inquiries
  • Oversee printing of checks and vouchers
  • Assist in the preparation of all required compliance filings
  • Respond to questions on pay, discrepancies and other matters
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and other Finance team members on payroll matters
  • Create and maintain documentation for payroll procedures and internal controls
  • Support the Director of Payroll in all responsibilities
