Requirements
- College degree required
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Minimum three years payroll experience
- Experience using Access, Excel and HRIS (Lawson preferred)
- Knowledge, experience, and ability to research and understand complex regulations
Responsibilities
- Process, manage, and review payroll
- Understand Federal, state, local, and foreign payroll requirements
- Respond to unemployment claim and employment verification inquiries
- Oversee printing of checks and vouchers
- Assist in the preparation of all required compliance filings
- Respond to questions on pay, discrepancies and other matters
- Coordinate with Human Resources and other Finance team members on payroll matters
- Create and maintain documentation for payroll procedures and internal controls
- Support the Director of Payroll in all responsibilities
