Set up and operate CMMs to make complex, precise measurements of parts.
Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, templates, and layouts for product tolerances and dimensions.
Write or modify existing programs, or create new programs.
Verify that parts conform to specifications and/or blueprints through measurement.
Provide manufacturing with first-piece and in-process data to ensure part conformance.
Interpret measurement output data and graphic data.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts to determine their accuracy to specifications.
Job Description
Summary: Primarily responsible for programs, sets up and operates Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) in order to make complex, precise measurements of the parts. Performs visual and dimensional inspection on parts to determine their accuracy to specifications.

Interprets measurement output data and graphic data.
