Requirements
  • Two years of in-home health care experience is required; Department of Labor experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts every other Thursday through Tuesday, completing six consecutive 12-hour shifts.
  • Must be willing to travel, potentially less than or greater than 60 miles.
  • Must be willing to work in multiple homes, with any level of care, and without restrictions related to animals, smoking, or lifting.
  • Must understand that a patient assignment may be scheduled up to one hour before the shift starts.
  • Must possess a current Registered Nurse license in the state or states of practice.
  • Must have a current hands-on Basic Life Support certification and a two-step TB skin test or QuantiFERON blood test.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Candidates should promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
  • Candidates should maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and job requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one private-duty nursing care to patients in their homes.
  • Help patients remain as independent and comfortable as possible in their homes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Department of Labor experience is preferred.
