WHAT IS AIS?
Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers. We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers’ most pressing national security requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Anduril is seeking an engineering leader to join a group of amazingly talented people focused on delivering mission outcomes through technology. You will help lead the delivery of high stakes, high profile, complex systems while strengthening our engineering and program-specific capabilities across Anduril.

As a lead software / systems engineer, you will own development and delivery of integrated hardware & software systems for our customers. While your work will primarily focus on software, a strong first-principles knowledge of and experience working with hardware (e.g., radar, optic, RF) will be necessary for this role. You will lead a team of software engineers to understand, decompose, integrate, test, and deploy hardware systems into Lattice OS and other third-party tools. Beyond software development, your responsibilities will include developing accurate models of hardware systems based on sparse documentation, developing concepts of employment, and measuring overall system performance.

WHO YOU ARE

• Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
• Ability to write code. You will be expected to lead a team of software engineers and must have working familiarity with one or more programming languages (GoLang, C++, Python, MATLAB) with ability to review work across a complex system.
• Experience with metric analysis and data science. Ability to synthesize field test results into clear plots and concise learnings.
• Ability to decompose abstract program goals into achievable technical objectives and strategies for measuring progress.
• Experience working hands-on with hardware for purposes of test, evaluation, and integration. Experience interfacing with and integrating third-party systems and APIs
• Experience leading and mentoring teams of engineers and working cross-functionally across partner teams.
• A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
• Travel up to 15% of time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world
• Must possess active TS/SCI Security clearance
