Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience is required.
  • Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols and adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
  • Technical proficiency using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct operational assessments independently to identify root causes, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead current-state and future-state workflow assessments using process mapping, stakeholder interviews, direct observation, and data analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive improvement plans, implementation roadmaps, and measurable success metrics.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to evaluate findings, build consensus, and advance operational initiatives.
  • Analyze operational, financial, quality, service, and productivity data to support improvement recommendations.
  • Develop process redesign recommendations addressing people, process, technology, and organizational factors.
  • Lead implementation activities and monitor progress toward targeted outcomes.
  • Establish performance baselines, develop key performance indicators, and evaluate operational results.
  • Identify operational risks, barriers, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and change-management efforts.
  • Develop executive summaries, recommendations, business cases, and presentations.
  • Conduct benchmarking and best-practice research to support future-state design.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to establish accountability and achieve project objectives.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
Desired Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma and/or training or experience in Lean Process Improvement.
