HVAC Technician
About the job
- At least 8 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
- Proficiency with building automation systems, including Carrier i-Vu, Growlink, Symbio 700, and Carrier Navigator.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and legends.
- Knowledge of HVAC controls, wiring, and humidity regulation.
- Universal EPA Certification is required.
- Experience with dehumidification systems and sensors.
- Plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and in all weather conditions.
- Ability to use ladders.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Must provide personal tools initially; additional tools are provided after successful completion of the probationary period.
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including Lennox, Aaon, Trane, Carrier, and ICP equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot building automation and control systems (BAS/BMS).
- Manage and maintain humidity control systems, including dehumidifiers, humidifiers, and sensors.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC and facility systems.
- Work with cultivation staff to ensure temperature and humidity parameters are met.
- Identify and correct electrical, mechanical, and system control issues.
- Complete general facility maintenance tasks, including filters, plumbing, and minor electrical work.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
- Ensure work meets local codes, regulations, and company standard operating procedures.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency maintenance needs.
- Experience with Aaon, Lennox, Trane, Carrier, and ICP units.
- Cannabis industry or other climate-controlled environment experience.
