Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a service advisor role or a similar customer-facing position in the automotive industry is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- The candidate must be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks and time in a fast-paced environment, maintain strong organization and attention to detail, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers upon arrival and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide advice on vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service options.
- Prepare repair orders by documenting customer concerns and coordinating with service technicians for accurate diagnosis and repair.
- Communicate service updates to customers and answer their questions.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience from check-in through vehicle pick-up.
- Explain services performed and associated costs.
- Recommend additional services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines.
- Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to support timely and accurate service completion.
- Maintain customer relationships and satisfaction throughout the service process.
