Requirements
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting, audit or advisory services; operational experience following a transaction start to finish in technology companies is strongly preferred.
  • CPA or CA required.
  • Strong foundation in accounting.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in applying technical concepts (ASC 842).
  • Strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end financial accounting and reporting for compute & infrastructure costs to support a timely month-end close.
  • Drive improvements in the quality of numbers by working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to improve the reliability of data.
  • Build scalable processes and systems to support the scale-up of the organization.
  • Partner with other members of the accounting team to draft technical accounting memos related to platform infrastructure costs.
  • Maintain hardware lease accounting schedules and record lease modifications per ASC 842 when appropriate.
  • Be the primary liaison with external auditors for compute & platform infrastructure costs.
