Requirements
- Have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
- Have at least three years of Federal Logistics Management experience.
- Be knowledgeable and proficient in using United States Coast Guard support databases, including Asset Logistics Management Information System, Asset Maintenance Management Information System, NESSS, Fleet Logistics System, ACMS, CMplus, Federal Logistics System, and SFLC Central.
- Have an Associate’s Degree or equivalent, or higher.
- Have at least five years of experience leading a Logistics Management Team.
- Have at least three years of experience with ALMIS, AMMIS, NESSS, FLS, and FedLOG, and three years of IMS or ES/QA experience under the USCG Modernized construct, respective to the task.
- Be able to use a computer for email communication and be proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools and technology required for the position.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization determined by the United States Government’s designated Security Office.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Perform duties competently and professionally, meeting milestones and delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative, and respond to requests for discussion or resolution of technical problems within six hours of notification.
- Provide system- and item-level technical, acquisition, business, and support service management to C3CEN Product Lines and Core Technologies.
- Provide the personnel, materials, equipment, facilities, travel, and other services required for Logistics Support Services.
- Load and induct new assets into stock or inventory.
- Create inventory stock records.
- Prepare signature-ready documents to assist Product Lines and Core Technologies with replenishment, purchasing, and repair decisions based on review and demand requirements.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain material due-ins.
- Manage material received, held, or stored in the Surface Forces Logistics Center Inventory Control Point.
- Review and control materials due-out.
- Review and create Material Release Orders, resolve inventory discrepancies related to these orders, and conduct supply support reviews to determine whether material requires disposition or removal from inventory, disposal actions, or stock-record inactivation.
- Maintain IMS and ES desk guides for C3CEN Government or contracted personnel assigned IMS and ES duties.
- Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing in advance by the Contracting Officer, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
- Provide onsite contractor support for professional Logistics Support Services at the C3CEN Product Lines and Core Technologies.
