Responsibilities
Research, plan, install, and upgrade operating systems of moderate to high complexity.
Plan, install, and ensure the quality of operating-system hardware, software, and products.
Collect requirements for existing operating-system hardware, software, and products.

Perform data collection, problem debugging, root-cause analysis, and resolution for operating-systems software and program problems.
Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members regarding problem resolution as required.
Proactively monitor and tune the performance of operating-systems software, hardware, and applications.
Analyze application response on assigned platforms of moderate to high complexity.
Evaluate equipment, capacity, and software use, and recommend solutions for performance or productivity issues.
Provide capacity-planning support for storage and processors across platforms.

Job Description

Plan, install, and ensure quality of operating systems hardware, software and products.
