Nested Bean makes infant sleepwear with a small weighted Cuddle Pad on the chest to imitate a caregiver’s touch and help babies self-soothe. The Zen Sleepwear line includes swaddles, sleep sacks, and pajamas in fabrics for different climates, with weight built into the garment for newborns to 24-month-olds. It primarily sells through its own e-commerce site, a shift from retail that began in 2015 to educate customers about the product. The goal is to provide a practical way to improve infants’ sleep while growing a scalable direct-to-consumer brand, supported by investor funding and a track record of growing sales.
