Responsibilities

Write copy for social media posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook
Set daily and weekly newsletters in each of TRD’s markets and across topics including commercial real estate, residential real estate, development, and celebrity news
Work with TRD’s editors to create breaking news alerts and special report newsletters
Work with social media manager to adapt TRD's news coverage to various platforms, assistance with scheduling and tagging content on social accounts and content scheduling platforms
Help with scheduling, content moderation, and user engagement on social media
Help with social media community management, redirecting editorial, subscription and ad inquiries to appropriate contacts
Curate shareable content from other outlets and help with external media outreach
Work in tandem with the Social Media and Content Strategy Directors, help to ingest and analyze performance metrics and craft media strategies across platforms
Option to ideate, pitch, and execute special reports, original reporting on social media, and new newsletters that add to TRD’s suite of multimedia products

About the Job:

The Real Deal is looking for a Multimedia Content Writer to join a rapidly growing media company focused on real estate journalism and headquartered in New York City.

The Multimedia Content Writer will synthesize the news, write compelling, accurate summaries for newsletters and social media, and think creatively to grow our platforms’ reach and audience.

Job Responsibilities:

- Write copy for social media posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook

- Set daily and weekly newsletters in each of TRD’s markets and across topics including commercial real estate, residential real estate, development, and celebrity news
