About the job
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in leadership.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in good standing in the state or states of practice.
- Strong organizational, strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
- Work under the Director to provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team.
- Hire qualified hospice personnel.
- Provide hospice services directly and delegate and coordinate hospice personnel evaluations.
- Establish standards of care that comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
- Implement policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
- Monitor nursing staff performance and address quality assurance issues.
- Support clinical policies and procedures.
- Assist the Director in identifying and resolving nursing department deficiencies.
- Monitor implementation of correction plans.
- Five years of experience in the healthcare industry.
