Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Five to ten years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Supervisory or people leadership experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Statistical Process Control, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies is required.
  • Experience with ISO quality standards and regulatory compliance is required.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are required.
  • The ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop the site Quality organization.
  • Establish and execute the site's quality strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional quality initiatives that improve operational performance.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.
  • Lead customer, internal, and third-party audits.
  • Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Monitor and report key quality metrics, including customer complaints, defects, scrap, and Cost of Poor Quality.
  • Lead root cause investigations and Corrective and Preventive Action activities.
  • Drive Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize statistical tools and data analysis to improve process capability.
  • Serve as the primary quality contact for customers.
  • Lead customer issue resolution and corrective action activities.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve product and process performance.
  • Build strong relationships with customers while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
  • Plan and execute internal quality audits.
  • Coordinate customer and third-party audits.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions.
  • Promote best practices across the organization.
  • Provide quality-related training and coaching throughout the organization.
  • Mentor employees in problem-solving methodologies and quality systems.
  • Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing across departments.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Minitab, Microsoft Office, and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.
  • ASQ certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, or Certified Quality Manager are preferred.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, AS9100, or similar quality standards is preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience within advanced materials, plastics, polymers, or medical products is preferred.

The Mitsubishi Chemical Group (MCG Group) is proud to announce it has attained full ownership of CPC SRL (CPC), a renowned Italian company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of automobile components crafted from carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP).
