About the Role
Rocket Lawyer is looking for a Lead for our talented Performance Marketing team to support the business’ continued growth trajectory.
The ideal candidate for this highly visible role blends their creativity and analytic rigor to develop and consistently execute across multiple marketing channels. You are both optimizing existing programs and testing into new ones to support the profitable sales growth of all of Rocket Lawyer’s current and future products and services.
You are actively collaborating across Marketing, Growth, Product, and Finance functions informing integrated go-to-market strategies and campaigns and advocating for this function and team. You are a skilled people manager, focused on sharing your expertise and experience in order to further develop and mentor your talented team members.
Critical Responsibilities
- Own the performance and growth marketing investment; actively manage the media mix to most efficiently drive profitable business results for all Rocket Lawyer products and services
- Effectively prioritize and manage work across internal teams, vendors, and agency partners to consistently deliver against both short and long-term initiatives
- Develop and manage quarterly plans to achieve performance marketing’s sales and activation goals; actively participating on the cross-functional team contributing to the company’s overall growth targets
- Continuously optimize all programs to increase efficiency, including management of an ongoing roadmap of test/learn experiments
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on the development and execution of integrated go-to-market strategies and campaigns
- Develop long-term plans—inclusive of the necessary tools and infrastructure—to ensure performance marketing remains best of breed.
- Partner with Business Insights/Data Analytics to measure and test channel and program impact; develop accurate attribution reporting to best represent channel and program performance and to inform investment decisions
- Provide ongoing leadership and mentorship for a team of talented marketing professionals
- Be a thought leader within the organization on all aspects of performance marketing— proactively bringing new ideas to the table
About you
- 7+ years of direct and relevant performance marketing experience and 5+ years of team management
- An SME in data-driven, paid digital marketing channels proactively staying up to date with new capabilities and trends
- Familiarity with SMB audiences and subscription business model metrics preferred
- Excellent communication - both written and spoken – and proficient in working with and managing remote teams
- Detailed-oriented, with a high bar for excellence in every deliverable
- Excellent project management skills to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable telling stories with data
