Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology.
  • Hold a New York State Radiologic Technologist license from the Department of Health, or be able to obtain it within six months of hire.
Responsibilities
  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce radiographs and/or computer images of designated portions of the body under the direction of a radiologist and supervision of a department supervisor.
  • Use X-ray technology to assist with the diagnosis of rare and complex cases.
  • Work the evening shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday, with alternate weekends and assigned holidays.
  • Maintain the required quality standards in support of the clinical team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience as an X-ray Technologist in a hospital environment.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
